We’re thrilled to announce that John Simpson has joined the Enspired team as our new Technical Director. John brings with him an impressive track record, with over 30 years of experience in the rail industry, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome his expertise and leadership to our growing team.
Throughout his career, John has built a reputation as a seasoned expert in rolling stock mechanical systems, with deep technical knowledge spanning bogies, transmissions, wheelsets, couplers, and vehicle structures. His hands-on experience and engineering insight make him a powerful asset not only to Enspired, but to our clients and partners across the industry.
In his new role, John will be leading our Technical Services division, where he’ll be driving forward complex technical investigations, offering strategic support to our valued customers, and playing a key role in developing and mentoring the next generation of talented engineers. His ability to combine technical depth with practical problem-solving aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver smart, sustainable solutions in the rail sector.
